Carrie is a strategic leader who provides trusted counsel to federal agencies, nonprofits, and private sector clients in shaping innovative branding, health communications, and recruitment marketing campaigns.
Over the past 20 years, she has worked on critical national health mandates and public service initiatives that inspire people to lead healthier, safer, better lives. At Crosby, she leads the development of integrated marketing and behavior change programs for the Peace Corps and Department of Health and Human Services agencies including the CDC and AHRQ. These education and prevention programs address vital topics including chronic disease, mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse, and HIV.
Prior to joining Crosby, Carrie was a Senior Vice President at Ogilvy, leading marquee recruitment marketing programs for the Peace Corps and Customs & Border Protection. Prior to that, she was the Director of Trends & Consumer Insights at the International Food Information Council and Foundation, creating science- and evidence-based communications on health, food safety, and nutrition. Her work has received several industry awards and recognition, including a Silver Anvil for Multicultural Public Relations.
Carrie’s strong analytical mind was honed during her early career practicing law for nearly ten years. She is a Fellow of the German Marshall Fund, a leadership development program to build transatlantic understanding and cooperation. She also serves as a Board Member of Northern Virginia Family Service, which provides financial an emotional support to those in need.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys being out on the trails and finding adventures in and around the Washington D.C. area with her family and dog. She’s rediscovered a love of baseball, gardening, and DYI projects through the eyes of her young boys.
