			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The individual should possess a comprehensive understanding of online marketing fundamentals and how search engine marketing (SEM) tactics can be applied for our clients. The Search Marketing Manager will be asked to assist with other online marketing initiatives such as mobile marketing, online display and social media activities.</p>
<p>The chief responsibilities of the Search Marketing Manager role are to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead significant paid search engagements with key clients from concept to execution.</li>
<li>Evaluate the potential role of SEM within client&#8217;s business model; discover and present new opportunities in a precise, convincing manner.</li>
<li>Shepherd client’s total SEM efforts – keyword development, competitive research, account setup, bid management, on-site optimization, and performance reporting.</li>
<li>Organize large amounts of quantitative data into relevant and compelling takeaways for stakeholders. Summarize findings to capture key learnings and support clear and compelling recommendations.</li>
<li>Work with client and agency team members to define success metrics.</li>
<li>Assist in continuously improving processes for collecting campaign performance data.</li>
<li>Regularly inform team members about online marketing trends, techniques or technologies that are relevant to our client base. </li>
<li>Cultivate strong client relationships by providing trusted, strategic counsel on SEM matters.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desired Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2-4 years experience primarily managing SEM campaigns and proving their ROI through conversion analysis</li>
<li>Expert user of Google advertiser products including AdWords, Analytics, Website Optimizer, Trends, Webmaster Tools, Ad Planner, etc.</li>
<li>Familiarity with and understanding of bid-management tools and third-party ad servers</li>
<li>Proven experience with organizing, analyzing and presenting large amounts of campaign performance data</li>
<li>“New media” user and enthusiast</li>
<li>Unmatched conscientiousness in producing high-quality work</li>
<li>Tenacious work ethic</li>
<li>Above average presentation and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to “connect the dots” and identify potential issues, as well as solve problems quickly and independently</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Annapolis, Md. (December 7, 2011) — The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, has selected Crosby Marketing Communications and CarrotNewYork to expand the reach of its “Hungry Pests” public education campaign.</p>
<p>Originally launched in California, the “Hungry Pests” initiative calls attention to several invasive pests that threaten America’s agriculture, forests and other natural resources. The campaign encourages people to change behaviors that contribute to the spread of destructive pests. Crosby and CarrotNewYork will work to expand the outreach program nationwide, initially focusing on twelve states considered at highest risk for the introduction or spread of certain invasive pests. Those states include: California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.</p>

(October 20, 2011) – This week, Crosby Marketing Communications, in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), TV Access and Nielsen, hosted “Powerful PSAs,” a symposium focused on sharing best practices for developing successful Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaigns. </p>
<p>The event, which took place at the NAB headquarters in Washington, D.C., brought together more than 120 of the most prominent broadcasters and communication executives from government and nonprofit organizations.  These thought-leaders shared insights on creative and distribution strategies for effective PSA programs, and what the future holds. </p>

(October 4, 2011)<em> —</em> Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) has selected<strong> </strong>Crosby Marketing Communications to create and launch a new website and online promotions for its clothing and household goods donation services, a critical source of funding for the advocacy association.</p>
<p>Crosby will redesign and reposition VVA’s ClothingDonations.org website to be the premiere online destination for people who want to organize their lives through the donation of household goods and clothing. Additionally, Crosby will work with the not-for-profit organization to promote the site via social media, publicity and other digital communications.</p>
<p>“We recognize that the funds generated from the donation services are vital to helping Vietnam Veterans of America provide programs that are essential to all veterans and their families,” said Raymond Crosby, president of Crosby Marketing.  “Working on behalf of those who have served our country is an honor for all of us at Crosby.”</p>

<p>Annapolis, Md. (September 28, 2011) – Crosby Marketing Communications, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s leading agencies, announced tody that Darise Deal has joined the firm as a Senior Integration Manager.</p>
<p>Deal will lead efforts to implement strategic communications campaigns for the Health Resources and Services Administration that encourage consumers to register as organ donors, particularly those within the Hispanic, African American and 50-plus communities.  She will also manage media relations programs for clients that call attention to a variety of health issues and social causes.</p>
<p>&#8220;Darise has a wealth of experience in public education campaigns and multi-cultural outreach efforts that make her a great addition to our team in serving government agencies and advocacy organizations,&#8221; said Crosby president Raymond Crosby.</p>
<p>Deal joins Crosby from Hager Sharp Inc. in Washington, D.C., where she implemented social marketing strategies for a national public education campaign developed for the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Prior to that, she worked for Equals Three Communications, where she coordinated media relations and community outreach efforts, planned special events and conducted research for clients such as Microsoft, the National Urban League and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.</p>
